Performed by an all-LGBTQ+ cast of 3 exceptional performers, Queer Words is a bold, provocative, and multi-disciplinary performance. Combining story-telling, spoken word, dance and physical theatre, Queer Words investigates toxic ideals and the crisis of masculinity.
TZ Project
The TZ Project is an ongoing East African Cultural Exchange Programme that Autin Dance Theatre are developing in partnership with Batalo East, Ibuka Dance Foundation and Muda Africa, which started with our first exchange in Tanzania during 2017.
Taksim Square
TAKSIM SQUARE is a poignant piece of dance theatre which came about as an artistic response to the popular protests in Turkey and the unfolding of the Arab Spring. The work draws on personal testimonies, key images, and is told through symbolic movement and patterns. It takes its audience on a moving and often brutal journey through hope and despair, creating an intense portrait of repression and resistance.
Big Brum Boogie
Big Brum Boogie is a participatory community project bringing together older, younger folks and anyone in between in Birmingham. The participants developed, learnt and performed the Big Brum Boogie FLASHMOB across Birmingham in August and September 2021!
